WSIL -- A new study says Americans working full-time don't have the typical 40-hour work week.

This may not come as a surprise, but in a Gallup poll half of all adults say they work 47 hours a week on average. 18 percent of people surveyed said they work at least 60 hours a week. Experts say salaried employees get the bad end of the bargain.

Although that designation usually comes with higher pay, no restrictions on overtime can turn into more time at the office.
