WEST FRANKFORT -- Police Chief Shawn Talluto has identified the 4-year-old boy who died in a vehicle accident Sunday afternoon as Logan Adams.

Authorities say seven juveniles were playing in the roadway on the 500 block of North Van Buren Street around 4:30 p.m. When a vehicle approached, the kids moved to both sides of the road. But as the driver passed through the group, Adams went into the roadway and was struck.

Police say speed and other facts were digitally downloaded from the vehicle, and it was found the driver was only going three miles an hour through the crowd.
