2 Wanted for Laptop, Tablet Thefts

PADUCAH -- Paducah Police are asking for help identifying two men suspected of stealing more than $10,000 in electronics from Walmart.

Police say the thefts were discovered Apr. 16 at Walmart Supercenters on Hinkleville Road and Irvin Cobb Drive. An employee at the Irvin Cobb Drive store found a display case damaged and ten iPads missing. At the Hinkleville location, a display case had been pried open and seven laptop taken. Two other desktop computers had been stolen from store shelves.

Anyone with information on the thefts is asked to call the Paducah Police Department at (270) 444-8550 or Crime Stoppers at (270) 443-TELL.

Marion, Illinois police continue to investigate a similar theft. Detectives say two men stole more than $10,000 in tablet computers from that Walmart on March 24.
