CARBONDALE -- Dozens of men put their culinary skills on display in Carbondale Saturday night for the fifth annual 100 Men Who Cook event. It took place at the SIU arena with Old National Bank as the sponsor.

The feast is all for a good cause. The men are raising money for the new Southern Illinois Healthcare Cancer Center that's under construction in Carterville. At the event, you could find a range of dishes, from bbq, to chilli and desserts.
"It gets the community involved, and it's a fun way to raise money for various different charities. And it's just a good, fun way to get out and support the community," Jeff Speith, the Old National Bank Regional President.
Speith said the event raised a total of $62,000 for the Cancer Center. Next year, the event will raise money for This Able Veteran.
