Chicago native John Havlik spent twenty years as Senior Designer of advertising, illustration and environmental design at University of Illinois’ Krannert Center for the Performing Arts before retiring with his wife, Paula, to her family's farm outside Vienna.Return to event list.
Havlik completed both BFA and MFA in drawing and printmaking at Southern Illinois University/Edwardsville and enjoyed teaching illustration and design for 15 years at Parkland College in Champaign.
From his current studio, Iris Hill Press, Havlik is designing and producing original graphic designs in limited series Giclée Prints (fine art digital prints produced on ink-jet printers). Each piece in the limited series is signed and numbered by the artist, with two artist proofs.
anthill gallery & vintage curiosities is pleased to present an exhibition of the first 10 designs for each limited Giclee Print series in The Yellow Moon Cafe’s Luna Gallery.

Luna Gallery open Wednesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Reopening Fridays at 6 p.m. Saturdays open from 10 a.m. until close.
