Event Description

Paducah Cooperative Ministry, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to respond to basic human needs in the community, announces the first ever 10-mile full moon bike ride through the city streets of Paducah. Individuals of all ages and abilities are welcome to participate in this event that will support the work of PCM. Check-in, tailgating and pre-ride entertainment begins at 8pm in the Bike World parking lot with the ride kicking off at 10pm. Entry fee is $25 adults, $20 for teams of 10 or more, and $15 for kids under 18. Register in person at Bike World Paducah or online by June 20th to guarantee a free t-shirt. The 10-mile cycling adventure is an easy ride on the almost completely flat surface streets of Paducah beginning at BikeWorld located at 809 Joe Clifton Drive and circling through downtown before returning the place it began.
“Paducah Bank will be there with the ice cream truck, and we will have water, fruit, and light refreshments as well as free entertainment,” Moss continued. The ride begins at 10 p.m. “Helmets and bike lights are required, and ‘glow-in-the-dark’ bike decorations are highly encouraged!”
A limited number of bikes will be available for rent from BikeWorld. Interested participants should call in advance to check availability or reserve (270) 442-0751. Included on the website is information about opportunities to volunteer.
All proceeds benefit Paducah Cooperative Ministry.
