Event Description

The two days of Celtic Fair activities will include two stages of music and dance, Scottish Highland Games, children's entertainment, Celtic vendors, food and drink, and much more.
On Saturday September 20, the music will run from noon until 6 pm, with a concert at The Tasting Room at Walker's Bluff from 7-10 pm. On Sunday September 21, the festival opens at noon, with music from 1:00-6:00 pm.
On Friday September 19, the Festival's opening night concert will feature Irish singer/songwriter Danny Ellis, performing at Cousin Andy's Coffeehouse, located in the Fellowship Hall of the Church of the Good Shepherd in Carbondale.
The Festival features music from Ireland and Scotland, along with Cajun, bluegrass, and other American musical traditions.

The Southern Illinois Irish Festival is seeking arts and crafts vendors for the 2014 Festival, to be held on the grounds of Walker’s Bluff on September 20 and 21.
