IBA Honors WSIL as 2011 Station of the YearWSIL-TV - For the second straight year, the Illinois Broadcasters Association has honored WSIL with its Silver Dome Award for Medium Market Television Station of the Year. This year the IBA Silver Dome awards were judged by Colorado broadcasters. The Station of the Year award is based on a station's committment to news and community service. WSIL won its first IBA Station of the Year award in 2010 and repeated as Illinois' best medium market station again this year. |
