JEFFERSON COUNTY -- Funeral arrangements have been set for the mother and son who died in a vehicle crash early Saturday morning.
The visitation for 33-year-old Melanie May and her 9-year-old son Aaron will be this Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Harre Funeral Home in McLeansboro. The funeral will follow at 1 p.m.

JEFFERSON COUNTY -- Jefferson County Coroner Eddie Joe Marks has identified the two victims. They are Melanie May, 33 and her son Aaron May, 9 both of Benton.
The driver has also been identified. He is 19-year-old Nick Rakas. Rakas is still in the hospital, but is said to be in good condition.
JEFFERSON COUNTY -- An early morning accident claims two lives in Jefferson County.
Trooper Christopher Watson of the Illinois State Police says a 19-year-old Benton man was driving a Jeep south on Route 37 around one Saturday morning. For unknown reasons that Jeep crossed the centerline and hit a guard rail about 1/10 of a mile north of East Adams Road.
The Jeep continued through the guardrail and plunged into an icy creek bed before coming to a rest. The 19-year-old driver was transported to a local hospital, his two passengers were killed in the accident. Names aren't being released at this time pending family notification.
Illinois State Police is still investigating the cause of this accident. Stay with News 3 for the latest updates.
