22,000 Pounds of Meat Products Recalled
WSIL -- Concerns over possible Listeria contamination have prompted a recall of more than 22,000 pounds of meat.
On Tuesday, Reser's Fine Foods announced the recall of approximately 22,800 pounds of chicken, ham and beef products and refrigerated ready-to-eat salads
The products were distributed to retailers and distributors in Canada and 27 states in the U.S., including Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky and Missouri.
The possible contamination was discovered through testing by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.
The company says it has received no reports of illnesses.
