Burger King Unveils "Healthier" Fries
Story Updated: Sep 24, 2013
WSIL -- Burger King has unveiled new crinkle cut fries, with 30 percent less fat and 20 percent fewer calories than the fast food chain's current fries.
They're calling the new product "Satisfries." They will not replace BK's classic fries, but will be sold in addition to them.
The move comes at a time when consumers are increasingly demanding healthier options. The fries will cost a little more per serving, except in kids meals, where there will be no price difference.
