29th Annual Sainte Genevieve Holiday Christmas Festival

The festivities begin on Saturday at 11am with a giant parade featuring a host of local and regional dignitaries, including The French Marines and other local militia, bands, floats, Shriners, classic cars, musicians, beauty queens, horses, Santa and more.Return to event list.
Free hot dogs and Santa photos for children 12 and under, sponsored by the Ste. Genevieve Lions Club.
This world-class event includes free performances by gifted local and regional musicians, including Southern Illinois University, Lindenwood University and Southeast Missouri University, covering 700 years of holiday-themed music. Performances include Gregorian Chant, string quartet, classical guitarist, jazz trio, violins, wind ensemble, bell choir, choral concert, bluegrass, folk, pop, country-western, gospel, French carolers and more.
In addition, there will be a tree lighting ceremony, an art show and many historic sites will be offering holiday decorations and festivities. Don't miss this wonderful celebration!
