The SIU School of Music Concert Choir Presents Music that goes Bump in the Night

The SIU School of Music Concert Choir will present the program, “Things that go Bump in the Night.” “Things that go Bump in the Night” is a collection of night-themed selections including Brahms, Britten, and settings of Jabberwocky and Invictus, the famous poem by English poet William Ernest Henley.Return to event list.
The Concert Choir is comprised of 40 voices, School of Music students, and is under the direction this fall of Carlyn Zimmermann. Some selections are a capella, but most of the performance is accompanied by Marla Hansen. For this program, the Nashville High School Choir is featured with the Concert Choir.
Tickets for the concert are $12 for adults and $6 for students and can be purchased by calling 618-453-6000, online at SouthernTicketsOnline.com, or in person at the Arena or McLeod Theater Box Office, Monday-Friday, 12 Noon–5 p.m. Tickets are also available at Shryock Auditorium one hour before the performance.
