First Color Run To Benefit Radiography Students

Vivid, vibrant colors and a 5K run/walk will blend together at the first Color Run on the campus of West Kentucky Community and Technical College on September 14.Return to event list.
WKCTC radiography students are hosting the run/walk to raise money for their Kettering Registry Review and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists examination fees.
This unique paint race takes place all around the world with more than 600,000 participants in its debut year in 2012. The event is expected to grow to over one million participants this year.
During the race, 5K and 1K run/walk participants are doused from head to toe in vibrant colors at each kilometer. The race continues at the finish line with a gigantic color festival using more colored powder to create lasting memories, not to mention millions of vivid color combinations.
The WKCTC 5K Color Run/Walk will be held at 5:00 p.m., followed by the 1K Fun Run/Walk. Registration for the events will begin at 3:30 p.m. at the Anderson Technical Building.
Preregistration is $25 and registration at the run is $35. Children 12 and under are $15 per child. All preregistered participants will receive an event t-shirt. On the event day, t-shirts will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The WKCTC campus will be closed to traffic during the Color Run on September 14 beginning at 4:30 p.m.
