Public Informational Meeting Held by Illinois Department of Transportation

The purpose of the meeting is to introduce the 66 Corridor Study extending from Paducah, Kentucky to Interstate 55 in Missouri and to receive public input on any existing travel concerns the public may have in the project area. The project involves collecting data, determining the need for improved travel within the study limits, and developing environmental evaluations of possible transportation improvements including no action, all within the context of the surrounding area. Handouts and display boards will be available for public review and comment to solicit input regarding travel needs within the study limits. Representatives from IDOT and their consultants will be available to discuss the project and answer questions. The meeting will be an open house format; therefore, no formal presentation will be made.Return to event list.
