Saturday Line Up for Lower Town Arts and Music Festival

The Paducah Symphony Orchestra teams with the Lower Town Neighborhood Association again this year to bring a mix of fresh faces and local favorites to the 2013 Lower Town Arts & Music Festival (LTAMF) which will be held May 17, 18 and 19, 2013.Return to event list.
On Saturday, May 18 music will begin at 10am on the Main Stage and on the Harrison Street Stage at 11:45am.
The Lone Oak Big Band will open the festival, followed by the Paducah Jazz Ensemble at 11am. Paducah Native Matt Andersen and his band The Decadence will perform at noon on the main stage as well as on the Harrison Street stage at 2:15pm.
Another favorite, the Akasha Dance Troupe, will perform during two intervals, once at 12:45pm and at 3:45pm on the grassy area beside the main stage.
Garcia and Scott and Ivas John Band will perform during the afternoon session, beginning at 2pm and 3pm. The Paducah Symphony Youth Orchestra will take to the main stage at 4:15pm followed by the Paducah Symphony Orchestra conducted by Maestro Raffaele Ponti – taking place at 5:30pm to 6:30pm.
Saturday evening on the main stage, we will have performances by Nashville-based Tommy and The Oh’s at 7pm followed by The Blind Corn Liquor Pickers at 8pm. Rounding out the evening, LTAMF has signed a regional band who is gathering quite a wide fan base across the southeast, The 23 String Band who will perform at 9pm.
On the Harrison Street stage, the lineup includes Captain Freddy & The River Cats, followed by Marshall County based Terrapin Pond. As mentioned previously, The Decadence will perform at 2pm followed by Soul Dog, Garcia and Scott, the Ivas John Band and Nashville based - Meet the Seavers at 6:15pm.
