"Locally Grown" Music Festival

Carbondale New School is hosting its 3rd annual Locally Grown Music Festival (rain date/time: Sun, April 28, 2013, 2-6 pm). Musical acts include the Swamp Tigers, the Pirouettes, Tom Connelly and Mark Stoffel, and The Merchant Men. Admission is free while wristbands for fun activities for children, such as mini-golf, inflatable obstacle course, chess, face painting and tie dye, will be available for $10. Food and beverages will also be available at the festival. This event is sponsored in part by Rustle Hill Winery, Thomas Publishing, and Synergy Therapeutic Group.Return to event list.
All proceeds from the event go to support Carbondale New School, a tuition-supported, not-for-profit school for students in pre-K to 8th grade. Founded by parents in 1974, Carbondale New School is not affiliated with, or supported by, any other organization, and depends on tuition and the generous support of the community through fundraisers such as this one to remain open. Carbondale New School is committed to providing an excellent education to each student, with small class sizes and individualized curriculum.
