Success of the past two concerts in promoting partnerships between volunteers, VA employees, Veteran service organizations, businesses and the community established Poplar Bluff as a priority concert location for the third year in a row.
The John J. Pershing VA Medical Center is seeking volunteers, businesses and Veterans service organizations who want to assist with time and/or donations to bring the no-cost event to Veterans and the community. Donations will be used for lighting, sound, hotel and lodging, meals for entertainer, transportation, ticketing, advertisement, security and labor costs associated with setting up event. Interested individuals or organizations who want to assist may contact concert coordinator, Michael Dobbs at 573-778-4058.
No admission will be charged to attend this concert “because the price has already been paid” by the sacrifices of America’s Veterans.
