For teen girls in grades 7-12. Vicki Crompton-Tetter's "Saving Beauty from the Beast" presentation about teen dating violence will open the conference. There will be two breakout sessions and the girls can choose the ones that interest them the most. There are also exhibits of local agencies and businesses, limited screenings, lunch, and a closing keynote. Topics for breakout sessions include safe driving, depression, student success and workplace skills, self0defense, Zumba, yoga, make-up and "girl talk". There will be sessions for the adults who accompany the girls. The closing keynote will be on Social Media Awareness. Church teen groups, Girl Scout troops, 4-H clubs and school groups are encouraged to attend. Registration, including lunch, door prizes, and a conference bag, is $20.
