If you are involved in small business and looking to take advantage of the vast marketing opportunities available through today’s social media, you’ll want to reserve your seat now for a special training event.Return to event list.
The Illinois Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Shawnee Community College will host “Social Media for Small Business.”We encorage anyone who is involved in promoting small business to take advantage of this valuable opportunity," said Candy Eastwood, Director of the SBDC. “We understand that small business owners need to utilize any free or low cost tools they can to advertise their products and services. This seminar was designed to help them understand the Social Media tools that are available to them.”
Through a partnership with Southern Five Regional Planning District and Development Commission, the seminar is free to business owners who employee 10 or fewer people. For all others, the cost of the training is $55. Lunch and materials will be provided. Attendees will earn ½ hour of college credit or 6.5 Continuing Education Units (CPU) or Continuing Professional Development Units (CPDU).
