The National Quilt Museum Exhibits

On September 14th, The National Quilt Museum exhibit entitled “Priscilla Sage: Fiber Sculptures” opened. The exhibit features unique 3-dimentional hanging fiber art works that are arranged to move with the air currents in the room. This exhibit will be on display until December 10, 2012.Return to event list.
Visitors will also experience two additional exhibits currently on display. “Material Witness” is a collection of contemporary quilts made by artists living in the Manhattan, New York area. While the subject matter of each quilt varies greatly, the quilts express each artist’s unique experience of living in New York. This exhibit will also be on display until December 10, 2012.
The third exhibit currently on display is “Blending the Old and the New: Quilts by Paul Pilgrim." In this exhibit, the artist blends together old fabric blocks to create new and fresh quilt concepts. This exhibit will be on display until October 16, 2012.
