Pressure Awareness Foundation will be hosting the 1st Annual Paducah Blood Pressure 4 Kids Awareness Day. Paducah Mayor, Bill Paxton, has issued a proclamation declaring July 21st as Pediatric Blood Pressure Awareness Day. The NPBPAF is encouraging everyone to wear red that weekend as a show of support for the fight to bring awareness to undiagnosed hypertension in children.
This highly anticipated event will feature celebrity superstars of one of the most watched shows on History Channel, Swamp People.
Most importantly, the NPBPAF will have registered nurse volunteers
providing FREE blood pressure screenings for children ages three to 17. The first 500 kids will receive a goody bag sponsored by Western Baptist Hospital.
More information about the event and the NPBPAF can be found by visiting website.
