Boy Scouts of America Ready for Nation's Largest, Single Food Drive - Scouting for Food

On Saturday, November 12 Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Venturers, and Explorers will hit the streets to deliver tens of thousands of bags to residences across the region. One week later, on the morning of Saturday, November 19, Scouts will retrieve the bags filled with non-perishable goods for distribution to local pantries.Return to event list.
THE PERFECT BAG:
2 cans of hearty soup, stew or chili. 2 cans of tuna, chicken, or salmon or luncheon meat. 1 can of fruit. 1 can of 100% pure fruit juice. 1 can of vegetables. 1 can of tomato or pasta sauce. 1 canned meal. 1 can of beans. 1 can of evaporated milk.
