CARBONDALE - On Wednesday, head coach Barry Hinson announced that guard Eric McGill and forward Jonathan Wiley would miss the remainder of the season.  McGill has a torn ligament in his hand while Wiley has a partially torn ACL and MCL. SIU Women's hoops pulls away from SEMO

CAPE GIRARDEAU-- The SIU women's basketball team got off to a 13-0 start against SEMO and weathered several runs by the Redhawks, in the 87-72 win.  Five players scored in double figures for the Salukis, led by RIshonda Napier's 21 points.  SIU won their third straight game and improves to (7-4) on the season.
